Meet Amanda + Oak. They’re pretty great. For at least 50% of our session, Oak was singing… or making jokes… or biting Amanda. It. was. hilarious. During our session, they were real with each other, no awkward side glances or “I’m going to kill you later” looks. It was a joyful, inspiring time for me and Ben. We’re thankful we get to photograph them again at the end of this month…

Through the work of a great friend, we got access to a super secret location in Lincoln… you’ll never guess where…. 
Sometimes, if I pray very hard and God is good to me, I get awestruck during a shoot. I literally get overwhelmed with the light, the way the subjects are placed, and the way it comes together in this completely super-natural way. This was one of those times. 
And then there was the most perfect light…
