Jason+Lisa, two people we were incredibly privileged to meet, become friends with, and be apart of their wedding. They are both just so loving and generous, I think I may have actually cried the first time I met Lisa, and we’ve cried almost every other time we’ve interacted with them, thats how powerful their connection is. Their wedding….tears, almost the whole time. You may remember their amazing engagement session back in the Fall.

This was an incredible moment between mother and daughter. It was so intimate I was actually crying (although thats not such a big shocker). Moms, take time to speak truth to your daughters on their wedding day!

Obviously the most important meal of the day….

I love love love this image, I don’t even have a good reason why, I just do.
Standing in the spot where they got engaged, an emotional moment.

Sometimes there is hardly a moment to breathe on your wedding day, let alone have a moment alone with the person you’re marrying. Time away from the wedding party and family is a huge part of our photography process on your day. It allows you to refocus on whats actually happening around you, not just when you need to be where, hows your eye make-up, etc. We want to capture you really seeing each other.

So yeah….they’re pretty funny.
ANNNNDDDD then we played with nerf guns. Told ya, these guys rocked x 1000.

Are they not hilarious? This was SO much fun!

Some might say this is cheesy which is fine, but it was totally THEIR idea! Their wedding was all about reflecting their personalities and passion. One of those passions just happens to be nerf fights.

Their Don’t Give Up moment. You can learn more about this movement here. Its pretty amazing and we’re honored to be apart of such a unique group of people.
