Lincoln photographer

We spent a lovely evening with Collin + Emily last night. This image was one of the last I took. No photoshop effects, brushes or textures. Just a homemade filter and a creative burst of excitement.

Much more to come and their wedding is only ONE month away. Peace friends. rw

Dear friends Tom + Ruth and their new little one, sweet sweet sweet Lydia Jane.

Little Lydia is 6 months old, which is my FAVORITE baby age to photograph. Theres so much more emotion going on on her little face, emotions that I couldn’t have captured when she was a newborn.

And no matter what anyone else says, I LOVE images of babies chewing on stuff, anything really. Their eyes, their brow displaying such focus, I love it all.

Lydia clinging to mommy’s hair…..

Crying baby = adorable.

Oh my goodness this LOOK! The way they are all adoring each other, even now almost brings me to tears.

And more chewing….

Magical colors created by one of Lydia’s toys. Baby ANTI-Portrait.

Thank you for sharing your love and adoration for each other, it was a pleasure to photograph your young family. Peace friends. rw.

The theme of Megan+Landon’s wedding? Family. They are both incredibly close to their parents and siblings and getting to witness such a blending of families was so amazing for us. Ben and I have know Megan and her family for years, first through YoungLife and then through her dad Gene heading to Haiti with us a few years ago. We LOVE these people. They are the most real, honest, (loud) and personal family we’ve ever been around, and they LOVE each other…..a lot. Its impossible not to envy their family bond.

Simply gorgeous.
Uh….this is a family of cheerleaders. No judgement here. :)

Hilarious.
Poor boys.

Ecstatic!

The family emotions here are incredible. These people are so so blessed by each other!

I love how much of them are obscured in this image. You can only imagine their passion.

Love this one.

My sun….

Lincoln, Nebraska in the spring is lovely….
Once when the couple was dating, they sat on this bench during a storm….I love stories like that.

The Don’t Give Up Project Image, a group of photographers who care more about marriage than wedding photography.
The Lincoln Grand Station, a beautiful venue will some seriously tall ceilings.

Ultra adorable!!!

Landon+Megan, we were so honored that you chose us out of all the other photographers out there. We are so excited for your adventure together! Its going to be a wild ride!

Holy cow this little girl is c-u-t-e. I definitely had to win her over and earn every smile and look. I’ve had the honor to work with this family for the past two years and I’m continually thankful they keep coming back. I’m also thankful they have two more on the way!! HA!

Hands and feet…A little playtime. I almost always find myself crawling around on my belly when chasing after 1yr olds. Its so worth it. And then she was all done.

Happy Friday friends!
