HOLY WOW! We showed up to Malcom, NE, our meeting spot for our session, and this is what was happening. No coaching, no placement, no nothing. Dan + Susan = Immediate INSPIRATION!
Plus Susan is the most photogenic person ever in a million years. 
Dan + Susan have a crazy wonderful story. They met while planning to go to Haiti, the same trip Ben and I went on in March. Dan especially wanted to stay focused on the trip so it wasn’t until their last night in Haiti that they really even talked one-on-one. 
Their first date was the day after they got back and it lasted 17 hours! 
And then there was the most inspiring tree, a willow. This is probably my most favorite of the day. The wind was blowing and love was in the air. (okay that sounded dumb. But its true!)
Seriously, I have bonded with this tree. 
I had envisioned a very stoic b&w photograph. Instead I got this; joy… and frozen toes. Real life is always better. 
I heart these two.

Native Nebraska grasses in the fall… 
Okay maybe this is my first favorite. Or its a tie. 
Next March, exactly a year from our trip to Haiti, they’ll be married. And we get to be there. We are so so blessed.
