Its Fall.
Okay its not fall yet but I’m dreaming of Fall. Crisp cool mornings, college football, chili making a comeback, cardigans, scarves, boots, baking without sweating, more college football. And families. This is the time of year I have the honor of entering into the lives of families all around Lincoln and Omaha. My approach to families is anything but cookie cutter. No props or backgrounds. No vintage-y small furniture in the back of my car. It’s just me, my camera, and an incredibly strong desire to understand what bonds your family together. I am silly. I risk my pride to befriend your child, no matter how shy. And I always win them over.
The images below are a few of the families we were privileged to work with in 2012. Who knows what magic will be captured in your family this year?
Right now, LOVE EQUALS has 10 (only 10) family spots open this Fall. A few are the coveted weekend dates, one is even over Labor Day. Please drop us a line at renee@loveequals.com, we can’t wait to go on new adventures this year!
(update: currently 5 session openings left)

The Baird Family… Their oldest daughter and I spent at least 10 minutes talking over mystery novels like Nancy Drew.

The Wiebe’s. One the these little dudes hit me and I was still in love with them. (to be fair, he was just playing)
The McCurley clan… SO much spirit in the family

The Tessendorf cuties I’ve never been around two sister who love each other more.

Sayer’s! We ate cookies together. Enough said.

My fellow Welstead’s. Our nephews and niece!

The Stibal’s (they added one more to their family this year, we get to photograph them this week!)
The lovely Haley graduated high school this year!

Jesslyne, an absolute knock-out.
The smallest (and most adorable) of the Essink bunch. She has three older brothers so I don’t think they’ll be offended.
Mckenzie, another grad with such a fun spirit.
The Eigsti’s. Love these friends.

I’m proud and thankful to do this work. Thank you families for helping make that possible. Peace.

Little Lydia is 6 months old, which is my FAVORITE baby age to photograph. Theres so much more emotion going on on her little face, emotions that I couldn’t have captured when she was a newborn.

And no matter what anyone else says, I LOVE images of babies chewing on stuff, anything really. Their eyes, their brow displaying such focus, I love it all.
Lydia clinging to mommy’s hair…..

Crying baby = adorable.

And more chewing….

And to finish…an ANTI-portrait I simply LOVE. Happy Tuesday friends. rw
